Gonzalez Family Ranch
This painting means more to me than I can put into words. The reference photographs of the ranch and trees is beautiful, but it can’t capture the richness of color, texture, and feeling that lives on this land. On the canvas, the scene comes alive—the warmth of the fields, the quiet strength of the trees, and the presence of history that you can almost feel standing there.
I had such a great time painting this piece. From the very first brushstroke, everything just seemed to fall into place. After hearing all the stories about the ranch and how much it means to the family, I knew I had to paint it! The Longhorn stands watch in the foreground—not just as part of the landscape, but as a proud protector of the land and the family legacy it represents.
This isn’t just a landscape—it’s a part of the Gonzalez family’s story. I hope when you look at it, you see not only the land, but also the love, strength, and memories it holds.
